Lifeline Baptist Church was started in the 1980s under the pastoral leadership of Tim Lawlor. After a few years, Donald Perkins assumed the pastorate. During this time the church found its home on Primrose Street in Haverhill, MA. Pastor Perkins would remain pastor for the next 17 years, and the church would remain in the Primrose Property until 2009. In 2008 Pastor Perkins was replaced by Interim Pastor Calvin Fuller. Pastor Fuller was instrumental in bringing Pastor Chris DiGiacomo to Lifeline Baptist Church.
Since 2008, Lifeline has seen extensive growth. In 2009 Lifeline purchased its current location on Brandy Brow Road. Five years later, they paid off that building and purchased the parsonage located next door to the church. This home has been used to house church planters and is currently home to a home-school co-op (Lifeline Christian Academy).
Over the years, many ministries have been started, such as nursing home, prison, Sunday School, Children’s Church, Master Clubs, choir, Faith Bible Institute, and many other ministries that provide everyone a place to serve and learn the Word of God. In 2021 Lifeline was able to help start Community Baptist Church in Lawrence, MA.
We are very excited about the future in the hopes that we will start new ministries, expand current ministries, and see more churches planted and strengthened in the greater Boston area and throughout New England.
